Today it’s Cape Town for Jesus where 55 000 Christians will gather in the Cape Town stadium to:
- Intercede for our wonderful city
- To stand in the gap for our nation
- To bless the nations of the Soccer World Cup
The focus of the day will be the opportunities and challenges that the SWC will present. The power of prayer is the power of change. But it is important to realize that prayer is not only about the intimate moments with the King. Prayer is also about being the answers to your prayers —- social justice and acts of compassion. Touching the heart of God in prayer will also connect you with the Father’s burning passion for the nations. In this sense prayer transforms you to be an instrument of transformation.
May this be true as we gather on this glorious day.
